Throughout the course of the program, we went to different field trips that I thought was fun and exciting. Some of the field tripsthat we have attended are the Harley Davidson Tour, Kansas Department of Transportation (K-DOT) where we also took a tour around the place and talked about the importance of being careful when approaching a railroad, the Environmental Portection Agency (EPA) where we talked about why EPA was created and the career fields needed to become a part of the organization, and the Downtown KC Airport where we took a tour around the airport and saw some airplanes.

Out of all the field trips that we have been to, I thought the fielp trip that was fun and exciting to me the most was when we went to the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT). I thought the field trip was fun because we took a tour around the area. One of the things that I thought was fun was when we went to the 14th floor and got to view outside of the building. It was cool to be able to go to the highest level of the building and see all the other buildings.

Another thing that I thought was fun and exciting was when we got to see the machine break the metal rod. It was one of the coolest things that I have ever seen a machine do to a metal rod that is that thick and producing that loud of a sound. It would be more exciting if I had the opportunity to see the machine break the biggest metal rod ever. It would be fun and exciting to me if that happend.

Not only was the field trip fun and exciting, it was also at the same time very knowledgable. One of the things that I learned about on the field trip was how trains can kill you if you are not careful when approaching a railroad. This helps me to be open-minded about my surrounds and to be more careful when approaching a railroad. Watching the video was hard because it was painful to see how bad decision-making can lead to death.

In conclusion, going on the field trip to the Kansas Department of Transportation was my favorite field trip that we went over the course of the program. Not only was it entertaining and exciting, it helped me to be more knowledgable and to be cautious when encountering a train or railroad. Overall, I thought the field trip was very fun and delightful.
